This rich & varied experience spans over diverse industries such as Manufacturing (Pharma, FMCG, Chemical, Engineering, Infrastructure, Hospitality, IT, Construction, & Financial Services. Moreover, this diverse experience has been spread over blue chip organizations like UNILEVER(10yrs), ATLAS COPCO, PEPSICO, CIPLA, CITICORP, OBEROI HOTELS, LARSEN &TOUBRO etc. His contributions extends to all facets of HR be it OD, Leadership Development, Coaching, Mentoring, L & OD & IR. Abdul has also been an In-House faculty for Behavioral Training & Leadership development programs at CITICORP. Abdul is thus equipped to present his clients with deep insights, fresh perspectives, understand HR nuances & Leadership Behaviours in diverse Businesses.
Equally adept in handling sensitive IR situations, Abdul has been a key advisor to the top Management in tiding over impasses on Labour issues, administering labour optimization measures like VRS, closing down non viable units in difficult regions like W. Bengal, Rajasthan & Maharastra etc. In his last assignment at Shapoorji Pallonji, as SR VP – Group HR, he was instrumental in initiating the leadership development efforts in the group. He also ensured uniform implementation of HR policies across group companies in India & overseas.
